can cps discriminate on use due to family size
my husbands x wife lost here kids to cps and due to the fact we have 4 kids of or own cps will not let us adopt them and instead they are going to make them a word of the state and my husbands mom has the kids the mother has no contact with the kids and they let us see the kids all the time so I would like to know it that it is right for cps to discriminate us because we already have 4 kids and they think we don't have the room

CPS can and will do anything they want, many times things that are not legal and against peoples rights.

Are these your husbands children? If yes he has some specific rights to them

What is the size of your home, did CPS do a home study and decide your home was too small based on the number of kids?

Do you have an attorney representing you, with CPS, always have an attorney.

As said CPS is working for the children. They won't just say no you can't have them with out doing a little research first. They will look at the size of your home as well as your household income and calculate the standard of living that the children would have.

Also what are the ages of the children involved ? Living arrangements are going to play a big part as well as how young the bulk of them are. I don't believe they can just tell you that you have enough but they can consider it so be sure to plan very carefully.
