Pest control
Chipmunks have destroyed the wiring in my heating and air. How do I protect my heating and air, how do I keep them out of my crawlspace, how do I keep them off my property. Thanks

Not a lot u can do... Blocking access is about it. Use cement/morter on all spaces where can. There's a product, copper I think, like tangled wire (think brillo) f/ holes u can't seal w/ cement.

Block as many entrances as you can find with something plastic / metal so they can't chew through it. You can get some traps and put them in the crawl space (but be sure to check them or you'll get a bad smell). And, to keep them off the property, get a very big cat.

Mix mosthballs crushed to a powder into the cement/mortar. Spread cayenne pepper or spray hot pepper.

I would consider a pellet gun. I know it's bad, but certain poisons can be applied in the right places. But if you have pets, I would steer clear of the poison. Just shoot them.
