    No TV picture
I get no picture on my TV. There was a bright white band in the middle horizontally and then it went out. Sound is okay. Any help?

It sounds like you had a vertical deflection problem (the horizontal line), then lost your high voltage (no line). Assuming the picture tube is okay, a competent TV shop could probably fix it, but the cost may be prohibitive. If the tube is bad, then you're probably better off getting a new TV.

    Sorry for the news,
