    Labor laws
    I am thirteen and interested in working, all I want to know is the labor laws and age requirements to be able to work. I am not interested in working during the school year, but during the summer. Thanks.
    Ps I live in the state of nevda if that helps.

    Go to your local state department of labor. They can tell you the rules, but generally you have to be 14 to get working papers. You don't need working papers to do some jobs like paper routes, mowing loans, baby sitting etc. But most other jobs will require them.

    Did not see where you live, in many parts of Canada you may work at 13
    In most parts of the US, you have to be 14.
