Fuel pump location on craftsman 18.5hp riding lawn mower
I have the above listed riding lawn mower (just purchased) and was told it needs a fuel pump. Would anyone know where the fuel pump is located on this? I looked and traced the fuel hoses, but can't seem to find anything that resembles the replacement fuel pump I have. The model number is 917.251493 if it helps.

    Thanks!

You can look up the tractor with diagrams on Parts & Accessories | Shop & Find Lawn & Garden, Appliance Parts at Sears Parts Direct | SearsPartsDirect.com from Sears. You'll have to look the engine up separately. You have the p/n of the "fuel pump".

Should be located near the right front bank of the engine, the right side of the engine as you are sitting on the seat that is.

Some Pumps are located on the bottom of the carb it's a small round golf ball sized dome with usually 2 wires attached to it . Not on all mowers but it is on mine. Good luck
