    Purchase discount on perpetual inventory system
    (a)discovered that 4500 of the merchandise was defective and returned items, receiving credit then(b) purchased 3000of merchandise from harbin co.on account, received a check for the balance owed from the return in (a) after deducting for the purchase in (b)
