    Loud Furnace Noise
I posted a question about loud noise coming from the forced air furnace after an A/C technician replaced the blower motor. At the sugestion of Mr. Vac and Keepitsimple, I called the technician back and aksed him to re-tighten all. I also checked and ensured the furnace diagram label on the blower door is not loose. The technician swore up and down that he did everything to standard. His supervisor stated there was nothing else they could or would do. Yet the blower assemply is still way too loud and rattles my basement and first level of our three level townhome. What did he miss? What can I do?

Did they say your blower wheel is out of balance. Vibration will normally come from the blower wheel being out of balance. A motor running in the wrong direction will do the same.
