Hiding assets, how responsible are u for your spouse?
Hi, my husband and I have been together 17 years, married 8. He has spent the last 3 years "working for himself" during that time we were evicted 2 times, had utilities disconnected, etc. I have always worked but make enough for a car payment and some groceries or cable bill. He left w/ my 7 yr. old, went 2 his mothers and she has helped him rent a house(she works for a large prop mgmt firm) he is working for her company making 45.00/hr and refuses to help me financially at all.Renting is near impossible w/ 2 fresh evictions, also, he left all the old utilities unpaid due to them being in my name he has new service in his but it will cost me thousands to bring them current before I can get service. He hasn't filed says he wants to come to an agreement before he does. Id b stupid to agree 2 anything w/o legal representation but cannot afford an attorney, he is hiding money , I know he made 6500.00 last month alone. Any suggestions on my next move? I am staying in his house constantly threatened of removal by police since I'm not on lease, he says I need 2 go but won't help w/ cash. Its only a matter of time before it blows up and id like 2 know my rights or an avenue out... HELP

This is hard to follow with all the "b4" language - I think the Board requests that you use English, not some hybrid.

Anyway - you need to take him to Court to resolve support. Without a Court Order you can do nothing. You will testify he is hiding income, he will testify he is not, the Judge will believe one of you. This could obviously turn into a question concerning old income taxes and hidden income if the Court wants to direct it that way.

You don't need an Attorney to file in Family Court. I see no other way out.

What steps have you taken to get your child back?
