I am 10 and really want a boyfriend. How do I choose and get the perfect boyfriend?:(

Although I agree 10 is tough age to start thinking this way, I'll respect you enough to offer some advice.

The way to get a perfect boyfriend is to be an awesome girl who attracts a lot of attention from the right "types" of guys.

I'm not talking about your looks, but looking your best is always a good idea, for anyone. We'll assume you spend the right amount of time on that and not get stuck up or anything, OK?

What I mainly mean is you need to fully develop your interests OUTSIDE of boys. Sports, volunteering, academics, school clubs, community outreach involvement... get involved in ALL these things. They will give you tons of real-life useable experience. It also puts you in environments where the boys are also mindful of good things, too.

If you don't take this route, you will be stuck choosing from the random guys passing you in the halls, and you may set your sites on some good-looking guy who doesn't actually care much about anything. He'll give you all kinds of attention and that will be awesome... at first. But in the end you'll be miserable when he turns out to use you and move on to the next girl he spotted in the halls.

But a boy you develop common interests with in some sort of "thinking of others" environment, those guys are much more likely to make "perfect" or "almost perfect" boyfriends.

SHORT ANSWER - make sure you have a lot going on in your life, and the right kind of guys will be there, too.

I think you are just watching too many movies and thinking too much about adult things. You are a child and have a lot of growing up to do. Enjoy your childhood.

Stick to your parents and seek their advice in such subject.. they know mch better than you do. 2 is better than one.. and 3 is better than 2.

Tectnictly you can't... but if you want one that will turn out right or at least a stronger one that could turn to your definition of perfect then become friends with a guy first, don't push things though it needs to happen over time.

Honey, you are to young to date, you're only 10 years old. Don't worry about this kind of stuff yet, have fun being a kid, there's plenty of time for dating later.
