    My lawn tractor won't start but was running fine earlier
    My Sears lawn tractor won't start. I was mowing my lawn and it was running fine like the week before when it just died. I attempted to re-start it but it would only start for a second. Now the tractor won't turn over.

    Check the coil, the battery, the solenoid, and the starter, and first check the fuse.
