Older Panasonic TV won't turn off
I have a 27 inch Panasonic color TV that I bought probably in or around 1996. Couldn't tell you the serial number or model, tried looking on the back but can't seem to find it. I've had this problem practically from the beginning, but sometimes when I go to turn the TV off, it goes to a white "film" screen with the TV show in the back ground and it won't turn off. I used to remedy this problem by randomly pushing the buttons on the front to turn it off and then it would. However, now it won't. Any ideas? Thanks.

Without any internal troubleshooting, only thing I could suggest is unplug a minute and try again. Doubt there is a menu to restore factory defaults?

Yea, I have tried that, by unplugging the whole night and the same problem persists. I did look at the menu to see if I can restore factory settings, and it doesn't appear so. Thanks for your help, if you come up with anything else let me know. Thanks.

If you have a cable box or amp that has a switched outlet, plug TV into their, to turn on and off.
Think of the brightside, A TV that won't turn off, is better than a TV that won't turn on.
