I'm 13 and me and my girlfriend have been going out for a month.recently she wrote a note to me saying that she's breaking up with me cause I don't show her how much I lke her. I love this girl very much and I want to get back together with her.how should I ask her out again? Should I ask her? Should I talk 2 one of her friends? I just don't know what 2 do

Hi,
At 13 yrs old, there is one thing that sadly, you will discover as you get older: You are going to have many, many girlfriends before you are 20 yrs old!
If this girl had to write you a note, telling you she is breaking up with you, instead of talking with you in person about it, Do you really want her for a girlfriend?
She doesn't sound like she is really respectful, caring, and she only wants out of the relationship.
I would start talking and listening to some new girls, making new friends. Before you know it, you will have another girlfriend. You can ask her to go out with you again, but be prepared for "No". Talking with her friends is like listening to "gossip"... you never know if what you hear is true or not. Why not talk with her, face-to-face? Ask her why she wants to break up. Maybe she will tell you the truth.

Also, dear, on another note, at the age of 13, what you are feeling is infatuation, not love. At your age, you love your mom, other family members, pets, and food,and other interests that you like doing on a daily basis.

Infatuation is a normal reaction at your age, which gives you the ability to notice what types of people you will later be attracted to and help you in getting to know how you will eventually go about mustering enough courage to ask these people out. There is a chemical reaction during puberty, but it's all part of the life that is still ahead of you. You will learn what types, styles, and characters you'll be attracted to, how to handle rejection, pain of some rejections, and joy of acceptance from others.

But, true love takes nurturing and growing while getting to know the entire person and one month is not enough time to achieve this.

Please don't feel alone in this stage in life, we all go through it and survive, and each relationship will teach us something about ourselves. That's what makes us strong for the future.

Try concentrating on what you want for your future, education wise, and career - other interests as well. Then go out and find common interests in girls you'll get attracted to to share these common interests with.

Remember, there is still and long and fulfilling life ahead of you!

If you really like this girl as much as you said then you should do whatever is needed. Any girl likes to be told how amazing they make you feel just be sweet talk to her tell her you need her and can't live without her.

This a 13 yr old you know, not a 25 yr old man!

You can ask her again if you really wanted too, but just bare in mind she may say NO after all she was the one who wrote a note to say she is breaking up with you.
If that's the case don't give hope sweety, there are plenty more fishies in the sea ;)
You are still so so young. Infatuation / Lust is very normal.

WARNING, WARNING, WARNING!!!

The last response from this young man, if you can call it a response - it was more a new post with the same problem... was MARCH the 1st.

So, unless he answers to these new posts to his initial question, we can consider this subject an old one.

Hopefully, he found a new gal to 'fall' for.

To think, we all spent so much time on him and he did not even respond back... Oh well, those 'younguns' in love... been there, done that, and am glad I don't have to go through it again.
