    Gfi tripping
I have a hot tub wired to a 50 amp gfi breaker. Been fine for two years now it wants to trip every time. Checked hot tub by disconnecting each motor and trying to reset breaker as well as heater still trips. Disconnected the curly wire off gfi and everything works fine. Does this mean breaker is bad or still problem somewhere else in the tub. Thanks for any help

The gfi might be bad but if you can isolate each motor and turn on the breaker you can determine if the motor or heater is causing the problem.Remember that a gfi trips not only hot to ground but also neutral to ground.good luck.
