    Leaking shower head
When the water is turned off, water continues to drip from the shower head. I think a rubber gasket needs to be replaced.

I have removed the water handle (it is a single control handle) and have access to the actual brass valve. My problem is that I can not remove the brass valve to expose the gasket for replacement.

    Are special tools needed?

We first have to know what we're dealing with. What's the brand name of your shower valve? One handle or two knobs? How old? Back to you, Tom

It's a Moen single know faucet and is probably over 20 years hold. On the faucet knob is a number 14114. I am not sure if this is a model number or not.

I have attached some pictures (?) at different angles. Hope this helps.
