I have light brown hair, and I bleached parts platinum (Blonde Brilliance) to dye them green. Once it grew out a little, I bleached it again (it was the wrong shade of green anyway) and redyed it a darker green. (SpecialFX Iguana)
The second bleaching took the yellowish tint out of the hair from the first dye, and changed it more of a sea-foam color in some places, other places a little greener, and white in other places, like the new roots. Then I applied the darker shade, which had more blue in it.

Now I am applying for a new job and don't want to look so cool. :D Ahhh good ole' Corporate America. :rolleyes:
I've been washing at least once a day with dandruff shampoo, and a few times with dish soap to remove the green. It has faded considerably, but I'm thinking I'll need to dye it a darker color to cover the green.

Do I need to bleach those green parts again to dye over it? Which is better, bleach or a color remover/ color stripper? (I can't afford a salon so I'll be doing this myself.)
Or can I just dye over the highlighter shade of green it is now if I use a darker brown? Would a redder dye help balance the green, or can I just do my whole head one color and hope it balances itself. I'm expecting a little variation, but just don't want the green to show though.

You will need to strip out the green. Perhaps with a colour remover? As it's faded quite a lot. Hopefully that will lift out the lovely green :p
Then once that's been lifted out, apply the red toner (can be a temporary or semi colour), then the brown on top.

I just think it would be best for the green to come out, because when you add colour to the hair, it just builds up inside the hair.
