    LLC with Multi states 1099
    Hi there:

    I am a GA resident. If I received a 1099 from NY State but perform the job in LA State, which state should I file my tax?

    You need to file taxes in LA (where the work was performed) and GA (your home state). The fact that the 1099 originated fromNY is irrelevant.

    GA will give you a credit for the LA tax you pay on this income.
