    Hi Vets174

    Shower fitting (drop ear elbow.. see pic.) height is 80" off finish floor in my area. The shower head and the bent shower arm lower final location of shower head so it is just about right for most people.

    You can increase or decrease this based on your customer's preference, of course.

    Don't go putting at 80" if everyone in house is 5'2"... then would lower to 77"...perhaps...but no lower because you know the next person moving in is going to be 6'6"... ;)

    Anyway... that's how I do it.

    In my area that standard height of a shower head is set at 78" above the finished floor. But Mark's correct. I'd set the shower head at 6" over the tallest person in your family. Good luck, Tom
