For the 2009 hdtv can you just get a converter box?
I already have the converter box to get the upper channels on comcast. Is there another converter box that you have to get with the regular TV? I'm confused. Thank you for your help!

No. The converter is NOT for HD, this is a common misconception. In 2/09, all broadcasters must switch to DIGITAL broadcasts. Digital is not the same as HD. The converter will convert over the air broadcasts from digital so they can be played on an analog TV.

But if you are already getting cable TV, your settop box is a digital receviver now.
