Changing a bath tub for a shower
I own a 1 BR co-op in Bay Ridge Brooklyn. I am going through some renovating. I would like to remove the bathtub and put in a tiled shower only. Will this bring more value to the apartment or less? The bathroom is small and would have more space if it was only a shower instead of the big bathtub. Any suggestions??

Probably less value as a bathroom with a shower and no tub is considered a 3/4" bath. Not everyone would appreciate it as some people like to take baths or need one for kids. I can understand you wanting to do it though, more room and you don't need a bathtub.

I agree and most real estate appraisers will too. Are you asking for installation suggestions on the shower? These shower pans are made to fit where a tub was installed Swanstone Retrofit Shower Floors
