well, no I doubt they told you that you "got the grant" what they most likely told you was that you would qualify for the terms of a grant.

You can not be approved for a grant until the grant application is written, and submitted.

As for housing grants, those can depend on where you live, for example for first time home owners there are large grants available in Georgia in many specific counties. In Atlanta there was grants available for purchase of homes in economic depressed areas ( the hood).

So they may have found programs you may or should qualify for.

Now there has to be a application written for the grant and submitted to the agency doing the programs, The problem is depending on current funding, how many people apply, you may or may not get the grant approved, you will not know that until you actually apply.

A good real estate agent in your area should know if there is any current government aid programs for buyers in your specific area, and would know how to apply for free.

A grant writer is just that, they get paid to write grants, my friend does grant writing for large non profit groups, he earns well over 50,000 a year, but the difference is on many grants, it is a contest, of who gets the money, there are often many people wanting the same money. Esp in large grants for things like medical research and other health care needs.

So paying someone 3 percent of a grant value, is not unrealistic, with 1/2 up front and the other 1/2 when the grant is approved,
But understand if you don't get the grant you are just out the money.

Wow.thanks you just saved me abunch of money!I can't afford to give money to people.see he said that I can get eather a 25,000,00$ or a 40,000,00 grant and with eather one a 5,000 persional grant.and the terms are that they send me all the papers to sign after I pay 500. Or800 pending on witch I want.it expires on the 9th and takes 2 weekes for me to get the papers, then for me to send back then I will get my grants about 2 weeks later? If I knew for sure this is real I would invest, but that's too much money to lose.I wish it was real my family could really use it.thanks.

    Hello pices1,

I checked out the web site you mentioned but I don't see where they offer to actually write grants anywhere. I only see information and publications that you can buy to assist you in applying for scholarships.

If someone else supposedly "applied for a grant for you" then you are most likely involved in a scam. Yes, you can pay someone to write your application for you, or you can pay someone to consult you on how to do it, but you must actually be the applicant. The funder would then contact you directly and award you directly.

Did you sign a contract to pay someone based on your award? If so, then you should wait until you have money in your hand before you pay anything.
