I was spotting brown discharge for 3days, during those 3 days I had sex unprotected, and then I bled for maybe 1/2 a day not even(which should have been my period), and it was so light, and then back to brownish spotting for 1 day and then nothing. Do you think that I could be pregnant? And do I need to wait a full month before testing if I'm pregnant? This is very unusual, my periods are usually light at first then really heavy and then light near the end, so for it not to even last more then 1/2 a day with unusual brown discharge I'm a little worried. Any one experience this and has ended up pregnant? Oh I guess I should add, I do want to be pregnant, so I'm not worried in the sense of being a mom, as I am already a mom, I don't even know why I wrote worried, maybe I mean it leaves me wondering what was going on with such an unusual type of period.

It is impossible for us to tell if you are pregnant. Anytime you have sex, protected or not, you run the risk of pregnancy. Unfortunately you are now playing the waiting game and have to wait until you miss your period for a HPT to be most accurate.

If you are not ready to be a parent, I would suggest using protection.
