Has anyone used Ipex Aqua Blue piping and compression fittings in their bathrooms?? I am getting a lot of different answers about using them behind a wall.

I have only heard of IPEX in relation to larger projects.. so I can't be too much help here.

I can tell you that when I have a question like this, I contact the local plumbing supply house and get contact information for manufacturer (IPEX) and I call the technical department and ask them my question.

My questions are usually resolved in 5 minutes or less... and sometimes they send me emails with installation manuals.

That is what I recommend... good luck with it... Mark

Thanks Mark for your answer. I have called Ipex and of course since it is their product they have nothing but good things to say about it and there have been no problems. Other answers I have been getting from plumbers and info from the net have different views on the compression fittings. Of course could be just doubt about using a different product other than copper. When you find something that works you tend to stick with it.

    You said it!

In my area we use viega pex or wirsbro pex systems... when installed correctly, I have yet to hear of any problems associated with these systems... behind walls or anywhere else!~!

    Good luck... Mark
