I'm down, been 4 days since we talked... before that weeks of her saying she loved me, but didn't know, wants to wait until she gets back in the country in two weeks to see how things go, then its "it's over for now, things will go how they are supposed to" I had got upset on a visit to see her, had numerous things that had me feeling something was up... I blew up and said some horrible and hurtful things... things I didn't mean. She will be back in two weeks and I want to know what I can do or say to show her I didn't mean those things and will never happen again. I know I probably pushed her away by pushing so hard for us to be together. I backed off, but told her it was just because I see that I'm possibly distracting her from grad school, but I'd be here waiting to talk to her about things when she come back but she's not going to stay with me she's going to stay with her parents. I'm heart broke I want to marry her and have kids... she claims I spit in her face, but I don't remember that and that is not like me. WHAT CAN I DO WHEN SHE COMES BACK, WHAT SHOULD I SAY, I Don't WANT TO BEG CUZ I KNOW THAT WILL MAKE ME LOOK WEAK... BESIDES I'VE DONE IT ALREADY... I FEEL LIKE I CAN'T BREATHE WITHOUT HER... I FEEL DESPERATE NOW EVEN BEING ON THIS SITE. I PRAY SHE DOESN'T STRAY WITH ANOTHER GUY... I'M THE ONLY MAN SHE'S BEEN WITH... SO SHE SAYS, I do believe her, but hey you never know. I think about calling her everyday just to speak but it seems before I was kind of irritating her... if anyone can give me some honest, truthful, and sincere advice I'd appreciate it... I'd rather hear a woman's advice because they know a woman,. us men don't know anything... I just know I'll do what it takes to get my queen back :(

A real man would accept that she has dumped him, and move on with his life.
A boy who is unable to cope with reality, will sit and wonder, how to get her back when she is back in town.
A real man would leave this female alone, and disappear from her life, and get his own.
A boy will wait until she gets back and accept any crumbs of attention she is willing to give, all the while hoping she will change her mind about him.
A real man trust himself, and loves himself enough to not depend on a female so he can breath, he KNOWS he can breath on his own, and can cope with his feelings.
Boys are lost and confused by the ways of females.
Real men are strong and confident and need no female to be that way.

... I'd rather hear a woman's advice because they know a woman,. us men don't know anything........I just know I'll do what it takes to get my queen back :(

Us men know what we want and how to get it and don't have to ask a female how to get what we want, so decide what you are first, MAN, or boy.

talaniman is being strict and firm on you but he has to be.. He's right..
The first step is knowing you won't die with out her.. It hurts - yes.. But you do NOT NEED HER.
You want to wait and put yourself through a world of torture - go ahead..
But look at it this way.. she EXPECTS you to come back crawling in 2 weeks time and she'll think you are pathetic for doing it.. Is that what you want?
If you want to be your own man then you resist.. you don't contact her again, you tell yourself it doesn't matter if she comes in 2 weeks or not because it makes no difference to you.. and it shouldn't.. People experience a lot worse than you and I my friend, and they're still alive to tell the tale.. we all go through our weak moments (its been 2 months since I've seen my ex, one month since we last spoke - because I decided enough is enough and I need to get over this).. I still have my weak moments even now, but I love myself enough to know that SHE IS MISSING OUT.. I love her but she made a mistake, but I'm not wasting any more time paying for her mistake.. It's her life she can do what she wants.
I want to be with her - I can't - boo-hoo.. Life goes on.. we're too young to obsess over things that are broken and cannot be fixed

If you don't believe what people have said I can guarantee you can look through some of the longer threads here and see the stories of those who held on, waiting for hope.

And if you keep reading, you will see how they ultimately crashed and burned... and when they finally realized that acceptance and positive action is the way to go. And just maybe, you'll find a few who came out okay :)

I came out okay? And it was through Tal's very harsh and firm advice that got me to that point. With his help along with everything else's I did realize I am better off and I can still dare I say it, live my life, without needing someone else to be by my side
