No hot water to sinks or tub
I have a friend that just had a new hot water tank and all new pipes put in. She can't get any hot water to the sinks or tub even though the pipes get hot. There's lots of cold water.

Did a licensed plumber install the hot water tank and pipes.. If so, need to call him back and have him fix this. If he refuses, tell him you will call the local plumbing inspector and see if a permit was pulled for all this work... because it should have been... and then if that didn't get him back, call plumbing inspector and ask him what you should do.

If not professionally installed, I figure issue could be pipes are clogged with sediment or water heater itself has clogged nipple at tank top.

Let me know more info. see what we can think of... Mark

Hot water in all sinks but not in two showers [ 8 Answers ]

Water comes out sinks, not bathtub faucet [ 1 Answers ]

The Location: Phoenix, AZ -this might be important because it's usually not this cold here The Scenario: for the past few days (when temps have dropped into the 40's and *gulp* 30's over night), when I turn my shower on in the morning, the hot water trickles out. Same with the faucet in the...

No water to both sinks / very low cold water pressure to bath and washer [ 1 Answers ]

My kitchen and bathroom sink have no water, period. Hot water seems to be pretty good to the bath and washer but cold water to those 2 locations are very weak. The outside faucet is very weak at best. I have had this problem for quite some time so it's not the fact that they are frozen. I just...
