    h1b application
    If my husband apply an h1b visa here and did'nt pass it, will it affect his h2b status or will it need time for him to apply an h2b again. You think with his position as housekeeping supervisor he can apply a visa based on employment. The company is willing to sponsor him to get him as manager . Will it help. How long the process takes

    There are a number of issues to be considered in regards to your visa situation.
    Procedures involve both labor certification and immigration, plus a change from H-2 to H-1B which is a delicate issue.
    It's is doable under certain conditions, for best answer you should get an immigration attorney who is experienced in work visas.
