Hello and thanks for the help.
I have a 20 amp piece of equipment and 15 amp plugs.
I found an adapter online.
Will this work or do I need to have things rewired?
I'm in an apartment so not sure what to do?
What would it cost to do this rewiring if necessary?

You should not use a 20 amp machine if the actual circuit is 15 amp.
So what actual breaker is on the circuit? Also an adapter?
Where on line, And as for as re-wiring, what size wire in in the wall, is it heavy enough to handle 20 amp, and this is a total of 20 amp for the circuit so what other equipment is on this line.

I'm not sure.
It is an apartment and there are some small things also used on the line.
Not sure what the wiring is and weather it is capable of 20amps.
I guess I will need an electrician to look at it.
