    Contract for Deed
What happens when someone defaults on a contract for deed? Do the owners have to foreclose, or do they evict you?

Depends completely upon the state you are in, and also the exact terms of the contract. What does the contract state. In all of mine that I wrote, the contract converted to a rental if they were in default. But others require foreclosure. So what does your contract says happens.
