My guy and I dated for about a year before we bought a house together. It's almost 2 years later and he's been confused and pulling away from me for the past 5 months. We've recently started talking about our problems (difficulty communicating, him feeling trapped with me and the house, a waning friendship, not spending time together) but there is a very void-like feeling around our house and I'm not sure if one of us should move out while we try to go through these issues. We are fantastic project-around-the-house partners and travel partners, but he seems to have roadblocks to feelings and intimacy with me. He has admitted to needing space for dealing with some of his own relationship issues and we both know that he needs to deal with these issues before he can focus on our relationship. The question is, how and where do we live in the meantime? I don't want our stale household relationship to damage his reflective needs and damage my own self while we go through this process. Advice?

I'm not sure what to say about this... I don't know maybe move out for a while rent a cheap apartment... let him take his time to think over.. maybe eat together once in a while... take a walk at the park or something to relax

Maybe just let time to its job... work it out in some way :p
