    Utility Sink Drain - into washer drain
    Utility Sink Drain - into washer drain. Is is permissible to run the drain from a utility sink right next to the washer into the drain line for the washer?

    Yes it is permissable... but has to be done in a way that allows for venting of the washing machine and the utility sink.

    See the picture below. It should give you an idea of how this can be done.

    I would need to know the kind of pipe, and how it is piped to give you more info. Any chance you could post a picture showing us the pipe you want to connect into?
