Looking for an answer
I've been married to my husband for a few years... he is never at home, he says he's hanging out with the guys... comes home in the early hours of the morning most nights.
I've just found out that he has a rash on the inside of his thigh's... could anybody tell me what this could be...
Thanks,

Maybe you could ask him why he's never home. You could also ask him what the rash is. I would assume that getting first hand information is better than anything anyone here could offer.

He becomes very defensive when asked about the rash. As for staying at home... his excuse if that he either has a meeting or he's just having a few drinks with the boys.
But thanks anyway.

(Question moved from Introductions to more appropriate topic area. The Introductions topic area is for introducing yourself and we try not to ask questions in that area. Thank you!)

So change the locks one night when he is out, lock your bedroom door.
He stays out late because you allow him to.

Jozi,
I have felt your pain. But first not sure where you are from but in the hot humid days my husband suffers from a rash because his clothes rub against the sweaty skin. No defense here just something to think about. I do agree that your enabling him to stay out without finding the reason is 1/2 the problem. Tell him you miss him and want to spend time even if it's "with the guys" What ever he is doing he can do with you, no exceptions if he can't he doesn't need to be doing it.
Good luck girl!

I would say the benefit of the doubt of the rash being sweat and clothes BUT he gets defensive when you ask about it. Guys get defensive when they are trying to hide something.
My ex use to never come home and had all the excuses. I could never prove he wasn't with the guys but I knew he was cheating on me even though no proof. He had been cheating on me with at least three or four girls through the years. The last one was only 15.
My neighbors ex --same thing--he would say he got tired and pulled of the road (two blocks away) and claim he fell asleep in the car. In the meantime he was cheating with her sister.

Sounds to me like the two of you need to work on your communication rather than you guessing what is going on. Has your communication with each other always been this limited? To be truly intimate and close to another person, it takes open and willing communication from each person to the other.

So why have you been allowing this behavior and tolerated him not talking to you??
You better start talking, and if he doesn't want to... stop this sham of a relationship.
