    Nissan altima
I have a 1995 Nissan Altima and the key will not turn at all. The button you push to get the key out will not move either. The key does go in and out of ignition it just won't turn.

Especially with an older vehicle, you are probably seeing the ignition lock cylinder seized due to the key being worn and the "dust" from that wear accumulating inside the cylinder and causing the tumblers to bind. You could try a new key, but the problem will likely be replacing the lock cylinder and having new keys cut for that new lock cylinder.

Sometimes, just judicious application of a lubricant into the lock cylinder can buy some time: shot of lube and work the key vigorously, repeat and keep trying (it may work on most, but not always).
Go to your local parts store and ask for something that will help. They may have some recommendations.

    I hope this helps.
