    See real competition?
Have you ever been to a competition? I work with Lifetime and there is a new reality cheerleading show that shows people how tough competitions are. I think there are some shows on ESPN that also show cheerleading competitions. Does anyone watch competitions on TV?

A sort of market survey, aye?

Actually, in my household, we do watch Cheerleading competitions when we run into them... because 2 of my pre-teen daughters cheer for their school.

I watch them on TSN quite regularly. I used to cheer for my school, when I was still in high school, that is!

Cool. Yeah I did youth cheerleading and it was fun. Sports are good for kids. There is a new reality show Cheerleading Nation that premiers Sunday March 12 at 10pm et/pt on Lifetime. The show follows Lexington Kentucky's Dunbar High School cheerleading squad. They have won 2 national championships and are going for their 3. The series takes you from the first day of tryouts all the way to the national championship competition. Competition cheerleading is the fastest growing sport in the U.S. You can go to www.lifetimetv.com to learn more about the show. Does anyone do competition cheerleading? Have you ever seen a show like this?

I do regularly. I am a cheerleader for my eight grade middle school squad and we actually compete with antionally ranked teams. Watching competitions gives us an idea of what its going to be like for the real thing. We have derived some of our stunts from college ranked and made them our own. Overall watching competitions helps us a lot
