    Frozen / attached bank accounts
    Can my checking or savings account be frozen/attached for my spouse's credit card debt?

    Normally no, as long as the credit is not in your name and as long as his name is not on your accounts.

    Also if he hides money in the account and they find it, they can try to go after it also
