    Abondonment issue
I would like to file abondoment on the father of my children as grounds to terminate parental rights( he is willing to do so) in Ohio. I am married and my husband does want to adopt my daughters, I'm just not sure how to go about filing for abondonment. Would I need a lawyer?

You don't file abandomnemt. You file to have his right terminated and you can use abandomnemt and your husbands desire to adopt as GROUNDS for the termination of parental rights. This means that he would have actually had to abandon them though which in most states means an entire year with out a single minite of contact and not a single penny of support payments. If this doesn't qualify as an abandonment your husband can still adopt though becaue he is willing to sign away his rights to clear the way for adoption.
