    Ear stopped up?
I had a slight earache last week. Since then I keep hearing my heartbeat in my ear/head. I was curious if this has something to do with my ear being stopped up? Kind of bugging me. So if any of you know how to clear this up, please let me know.

You know, I have had many problems with my ear, and to ease the plugged feeling, I get a washcloth wet, put it in the microwave for about 45 seconds to a minute, stuff it down in a cup and hold the cup over your ear. Make sure you don't burn yourself with the washcloth. Hold it over your ear for afew minutes. I hope this helps, but remember your ears are important and the better advice would be to go to the doctor if this persists! Good luck!

But would a stopped up ear cause me to hear my heartbeat in my head? Because when I hold my breath my right ear pops. So I assume it is stopped up. I have always had trouble with my ears also.

Sounds as though you have fluid buildup in your inner ear which is called otitis media. You need to have this checked out by a doctor to make sure there is no infection. If there is an infection you need proper antibiotics to clear this up.
