Does he like me? Or Does he like my sister?
Ok, there is this guy who some people say they think he likes me since he asked about me one day when I didn't come to something (he asked where I was and why I didn't come) and he asked my friend if I was going to a party that he would be at last weekend. He is really nice to me too, interested in what I do, and we have a lot in common. Me and him are a year apart, and at the function we both went to, he was talking to my YOUNGER sister and was telling her that she needs to start doing this sport we are both into. She is like 4 years younger than him, but I still felt jealous that he wanted her to take up this hobby and was talking to her, even though he knows me better and just met her for the second time. He was bragging about how good I was at the sport we play to a friend of his at the party saying "Yall better watch out for her, she can hit the target and is hitting the far ones" and gave me a hug when I saw him. So now I don't know if he is interested in her or was just being friendly to her or if he is interested in me? For all you guys out there, am I making a mountain out of a mole hill or what? Do you do this to someone you like or just to be nice/friendly? I really like this guy and we have a lot in common, he is only a year older than me, so I don't know what to do! My sister is not interested in him, since he has a tattoo and she hates tatoos and he is older. He might have been just making conversation. I don't know what to think of the entire situation. He may not even know that I am into him. Help!

Well, at your age it is expected for you to make mountains out of every emotional molehill you experience. So don't feel too bad about that.

Right now every interaction you have with this guy is sending your mind/heart flitting all over the place and you're unsure how to handle it. Again, perfectly normal.

But you can put your feet back on the ground and keep them there if you really try. There's no mystery here, you don't have to "figure out" what guys mean or who they like more or any of that. You can do the unthinkable... just ask him and believe what he says, or hang out with him and believe what he does.

Don't try to add more motivation beyond the obvious. Guys are much simpler creatures than girls want to believe.

He could very likely like you and your sister both as just friends.
He could very likely see you as a best buddy or something where he is not even thinking along the lines of 'interested in you'.
Accept your friendship as that and see where it goes.
I wouldn't push it cause you don't want to scare him away.
