Can someone stop acting jealous?
Hi all ,
Recently I started seeing a new girl and it turn out I really like her a lot... I started to see she is the jealous type she actually admitted it that she can be very jealous... I guess my question is can a relationship work when there's 1 very jealous person?? Can someone who's jealous ever get over it..? I really never been with someone jealous I'm just confused??

Not over night, it can take years as trust grows.

Wow, this question is right up my alley. I lost my ex to my inability to trust her which stemmed from jealousy. I have finally righted the ship but it wasn't over night nor was it an easy task to do. It's a very long road, and you go through it alone because you are confronting your own demons in which no one else can help. I battled through my jealousy with the help of therapy, countless books, and online jealousy courses.
It's an everyday battle and sometimes I find myself getting a little jealous and when that happens I simply remind myself that if the person wants to cheat, regardless of how many restrictions you put on the relationship, they are ultimately going to cheat

If your not emotionally equipped to deal with someone who has this problem, your asking for a lot of trouble.

Like it has been mentioned that jealousy is a HUGE trust issue. Be very hesitant if someone manifests this in a relationship and you have not given a reason for mistrust. You will be in for a long and unpleasant road of highs and lows.
Can someone learn to not be jealous, Yes. It's work. They could need counseling or at the least just daily/weekly/monthly affirmation and support on the topic. Good Luck.

Actually depending on how extreme her jealousy is, I would cherish it, because it means she ain't leaving, chances are she is going to be really nice so you won't cheat, and you don't have to worry about her cheating.

Dating vs. Seeing someone

This is something that I have seen here recently. There are a lot of women who say that you are dating, but want to date other people. Now I don't know if I am just out of the loop here but isn't that more along the lines of seeing someone rather than dating someone? Isn't dating someone more...
