    Repairing formica counter tops
My formica counter top got water beneath one of the seams and has turned loose. Is there any way this can be repaired? If not, does Lowe's still carry the Blue Moran (I think that is the color it is, if not Blue it may be Gray Moran) in sheets of formica? It was purchased about 9 or 10 years ago.

If the seam is still good not chipped or cracked then you may be able to use contact cement or similar laminate adhesive but your going to have to let it completely dry out first. Once its dry just use a thin wooden paddle to spread adhesive underneath, or there is a spray adhesive called 3M 90 I think this would require using some type of shield to block overspray from the rest of the counter. Once the adhesive has been applied firmly press laminate into the adhesive . If Ive missed anything post back and let me know oh almost forgot if you use the spray adhesive it tacks very quickly so be ready.

    GOOD LUCK, AC

OK, here is my delima... I just had granite counter tops installed. They did not seal them so it was left up to me to do it. I bought a kit with everything needed to seal and wax it. Well, being the handy woman that I am  I messed up. I did a small section to get the feel of it. It looked...
