He doesn't have to sign in order for you to get a divorce - you sue him for divorce. No signature is necessary.

If you can't find him an Attorney can serve him by publication but it depends on the circumstances.

There is no fast, cheap, easy way to get a divorce - or at least to get a divorce that will stand up if it's questioned later.

Some of what can and will happen depends on the State you live in.

There is no easy way but it is very possible, the easiest way is of course find him and have him sign, it will be very cheap to do and fast.

If you can't find him, there are laws on publishing the divorce hearing in the paper and show how you attempted to find him and so on.

If he just won't sign, then will he show up in court and actually fight the divorce or just not show up.

But the harder he makes it, the more it is going to cost.

Don't know what state your in and the law varys from state to state, but in North Carolina after your years up you file for divorce and the lawyer makes several attempts to locate the spouse, and after all efforts is exausted I'm pretty sure they will run it in the local paper 3 times and after that they set a court date and if its just an uncontested divorce just you and your attorney are the only ones that must attend. And depending on who you get about 350 to 400 dollars should set you free

You file the papers with the Court, make every attempt to find him, the Court grants an Order to serve him by publication.
