I am trying to find out who my birth mother is. Is it impossible to do since edna gladney has sealed the records. Do I stand any chance with this?

That depends on a lot of things.

Place letters in your adoption records and at the courthouse of the county you were adopted in that state you are willing to be contacted by your birthparents.

Register on adoption boards like Adoption.com that have reunion pages.

You can't get your records unsealed unless there is an emergency that requires medical records for some reason. Most places are universal about that.

Talk to your adoptive parents--they may have more information than you think.
