    Is this a real Verify letter?
    I sent out a notice to verify to several collection agencies and got back the reply letters but all they said they Acquired the account(s) and no one showed me all the info asked like payments, signed recipts etc for the verification process.

    So if I just get a statement saying they BOUGHT and a statement saying the amount and no other documents supplied is this a legit verification or a bogus one?

    It could be real and they often do refuse to verify, but often it is another person with the same name. Basically when they refuse to verify and you want to know I guess you would have to check your credit history and figure which payments belong with which things on your credit report. IF you have any 800 #'s you can type them in here and see what others have to say about the companies.
