    Shower Noise
    Hello all,
I need help. Whenever I turn my upstairs shower on it begins to lose pressure sometimes and makes a loud noise in the pipes behind the wall. I was wondering if anybody could help me out. Thanks.

Does it lose pressure, on the hot side? On the cold side? Both sides? What's the brand name of your valve? How old is it? Sounds like some crud broke lose and now it's clogging your supplies and valve body. Shut the water off and open up the valve. Check and clean the inlet ports in the cartridge. Now turn the water back on for a minute to flush out the supplies and open valve body. Do you get a full stream out of the open valve body? If not click on back. To tell you more we need the name, type,(one handle or two knobs)and age of your faucet. Regards, Tom
