My husband cheated on me a year ago. To make a long story short upon finding out I kicked him out and filed for a divorce within a week of finding out.
3 months later he begged me to just start being friends and try to forgive what he calls the Biggest mistake of his life...
Fast forward to today he's doing everything he can. Counseling, honesty. etc.
The kids are happy and for the most part so am I.
Here's the problem I can't forget how for months he had a intimate, emotional relationship with someone else. How could he stab me in the back for months. He was even spotted with her, so he wasn't to worried about my heartache.
And to top it all off she was sooo dispictable looking, inside and out. She made a point for me to know what was going on. To this day it makes me sick. How someone like that could turn his head let alone be his mistress. Im cute but most importantly I would NEVer hurt someone like that.
If a anyone has any advice how to forget and move forward PLEASE help!!

You will never forget, but you will move on with your life. Your anger is fueling a lot of intense emotions to cope with your hurt, and shock. Your emotional dust hasn't settled, and honestly he seems to be the driving force behind all this. He may be trying, but you ain't buying it yet.
