How to get money back from a home warranty company?
    Hi,
I bought a home warranty contract from National Home Protection last Monday morning, then I changed my mind and called to cancel the contract in the afternoon on the same day. They told me the contract had been cancelled. (but I forgot to ask for the confirmation number)
Today I found my credit card still be charged by the company. Is there any way I can get my money back?
NOTE: National Home Protection is just a costly joke. Never buy anything from them!

Call and WRITE the credit card company challenging the charge on the credit card, notify the credit card company that this was cancelled and should not have been charged.

While not aware of the National Home Protection company many of the home warranties are very worth their money if and when buying a home. Esp if the condition of major systems, are not known.

I'm supposed to receive a reimbursement check of $200 for a broken built-in microwave oven that was beyond repair from a home warranty company. The problem is that the check was supposed to be issued in January this year but never reached to me. I called over 4 times to ask about it and every time I was told the check was on the way. Is there anything else I can do to get the check other than calling? Thanks for your help.
