    Eljer shower diverter
I need to replace an Eljer shower diverter.. this is the 3-knob style shower diverter.. after removing the handle and the stem nut I see a large flat washer with two flat sides on it.. I can see threads in along the large flat washer but can not budge with just hand pressure.  .Another dilemma I am facing is I understand Eljer went out of business about 5yrs ago.. Any assistance on this can be greatly appreciated.. How can I get this diverter out with out tearing it up.. going crazy??

    Respectfully

Alive and doing well, Eljer, Inc. Click on distributers and fill in the info. You might try to put a crescent wrench onto those flat side of the washer, it isn't a washer.

Shower diverter [ 1 Answers ]

Water is coming from both the tub spout and shower head in both showers. They are both delta faucets. We have replaced one diverter valve to see if that was the problem, however, no difference. The faucet is a single lever faucet with a push in diverter. Any suggestions?
