    Payday loan settlement companies
I'm overwhelmed with payday loans, and saw an ad for Langhorne Debts Solutions. I sent them all my payday loans (all internet based companies), and they set up a payment plan and supposedly notified my lenders. After making an initial payment to them, I still receive multiple phone calls everyday, to my home, work, and cell phone. I thought they would resolve this, but they said I would continue to be hounded. Is it worth going through one of these companies? are they a good option?. I just spoke with one lender, and settled for 60% of the debt owed... I guess I could do that with all of them, but would be unable to pay all of them in a short period. Do I really need this debt management company that will end up charging me 1000 dollars?

    Hello pmuhr1

How many paydayloans do you have? What is the total amount you owe? Excon is right you called and settled with one and you did what they supposedly did. Ask yourself this if they do what they say they do then why are you still dealing with hounding calls?

Have you checked with the creditors? Did Langhorne do what they said? Did the payment you made to them go your creditors? Before you give them any more money you need to make sure that Langhorne is not scamming you.

I have 9 loans, varying from 200 to 1000 dollars... they have only sent me one negotiated settlement for the largest one... but, based on what I just experienced, I guess I'm screwed out of the 350 dollars I already paid Langhorne... I just don't have the money to settle all of them at once... thats why I went to langhorne...

    Hello pmuhr1

What state are you in? I have read that these payday loans companies are nothing but bad news, Our state has all but banned them The new laws that will go in effect july1 will make it hard for these places to stay in business here . Try calling them and be honest and ask them will they work with you. Once you get out from under them NEVER deal with them again Are they holding a personal check made out to them ? If they are there is always the chance they will deposited it and if the funds aren't there the check will bounce and then there will be more fees! So try calling them it could't hurt.
