Can they get my bank account!
I usually pay all my billsbut recently I had to let one of my revolving loans with Beneficial go and was very late trying to get back to paying-with no details but-I tried to go to one of their local offices to speak with someone (because "they" are very rude on the telephone) and it was closed and the bank had a note on the door directing me to another office in a near-bycty-well, I followed the sign and went to that office-and it was closed! By this time I'm frustrated. I called the number on my bill and it directed me to many offices who either wouldn't tell me anything or couldn't-I went to my banker-she tried to call to get a pay off to consolidate-nothing just rude people on the other end-NOW I recently got a judgement against me with Beneficial wanting my back account money for not paying! But this attorney is different then the first judgement paper I had gotten-I'm so confused-what should I do-I have a court date for April 21?

Sincerely and desperate for an answer,

Hi Avulgamore, just hang in there and you will get the answers you need or at the very least will be very helpful, from the knowledgeable people on this site.

Just wanted to say at least you are able to go to court and fight this. I believe that is what you are saying. You definitely want to do all you can so that a judgment is NOT filed against you. If you are saying that the judgment is ALREADY filed against you, you may already know that you only have so much time to vacate that judgment (if it wasn't properly served for example.)

If that judgment was or will be (applied) against you, unfortunately Yes, they can go after your bank account. Hopefully they will work with you. I've known some people to just close out their accounts until they had a fair "say" especially if they don't know where you work. In that case, of course they then can garnish wages. Best of Luck to you!!

P.S. Isn't it amazing how people are so darn rude and nasty when you are suffering and frustrated?! Hopefully, they will be in a somewhat similar situation someday or at least be treated the way they are treating people when they are having hard times. I can only pray!

Thank you! I don't know how people can be so cruel. I do believe that people are trained to be terrible, because we weren't born to "hate" praying is all I have left.
