A Hickey is what?
Strat - TK,
In Electrician Speak, what does the term, "Hickey" mean?

It allows you to make a tighter bend than a standard conduit bender.

The "relevance" is:
The second photo clearly shows a picture of a hickey and is followed by the following caption...
Some fixtures don't use a mounting strap; the fixture is secured
To the stud with a "hickey," or reducing nut.

Izannah, Isee the Hickey now, we always called something else a hickey, and vaguely remember your photo to be a hickey. You are correct. I will see if I can find another example of a Hickey(Not the one on the neck)

Yes, in the electrical world, a hickey is one of two things.
A fixture hanging part, or a conduit bender.

While the "hickey" in the picture may help you turn the lights on... the hickey on the neck will turn something else on! Hee hee
