I think she's too young to be depressed.
Okay so, my best friend lost a boyfriend of hers about 6 months ago..
They went out for 5 months, and she has liked him for two years..
He broke up with her. She is fourteen years old.
He has another girlfriend, that he is in love with..
She has yet to get over this boy..
She has changed very much, her eating habits, her moods.. Sometimes she says she feels like dying.. We tell her to get a therapist but she doesn't want to..
The other night she started having spazms in her sleep.. almost like seizures. She would be thinking of the two and then she would think of something else, and flip out..
I don't know what's going on with her, and nor does she..
She feels that she is only happy when she is talking to him..
The guy she loves and his girlfriend have gone further than she and him, and though they are good friends.. she feels like crying all day long.
She is way too young for this.
Please give me some advice on what's wrong with her, and some ways to help.. thank you.

You are never to young to be depressed... I was 14 when I started cutting myself. I say just be there for her as much as possible... maybe talk to her parents. If she is a danger to herself then tell her parents... It may end your friendship with her but it could potentially save her life. I remember when my therapist told my parents I was suicidal I felt betrayed and wanted to stay at home and never go to another session, but it made me see that she had my best interest at heart and I still go... the point is always tell if she is so depressed that she is changing.

Wa. Better take care of her she might even try to
Commit suicide. Well just try to cheer her up. Go out in groups to the movies or anything tat she likes to do. She needs help getting over this. Liking someone for 2 years is pretty crazy. Personally if me I would tell her to cheer up and take her out n treat her. Good luck!

    Well...
Obviously you are never too young to be sad/depressed.

And every girl needs someone to talk to where they don't have to worry about that person thinking are some depressed emo girl.
And I thiink if you care enough to post this then you should care enough to be there for her 24/7

Your friend seems to have emotional attatchment issues.
Where she feels as if she needs love or some form of counterpart to feel complete.

She also seems to be jealous of this new girl her ex-boy is now with.
Now the information you provided is limiteed so I can't give my full advice on the subject but my best help I can give is to be there for her and help her keep her mind off this boy she seems to feel for.

If you have other questions let me know.
    Ill be glad to help

    Lauren.
