I am looking for the title of a movie I saw when I was a kid. In the late 60s or early 70s. It begins with a man being shot by a woman in a hallway of a building. She runs a way and another woman I believe gets off the elevator and runs over, picks up the gun and is saying I'm sorry. She is arrested and is on death row to be executed but electrocution. I believe it is stayed once or twice but I think she is finally executed in the ends moments before the other woman arrives abnd confesses. It was a black and white picture.

That is not the movie I am thinking of. I have I Want To Live. In the movie I am thinking of the one woman shoots the man in the hallway. I believe the other woman gets out of an elevator and discovers the dead guy and kneels down and keeps saying she's sorry. They arrest her. She is on death row awaiting execution by electrocution, that I'm sure of. Moments after she is electrocuted the real killer shows up and confesses.
